The 50S now offers a next-level audio experience with SOUND BY Harman Kardon. The speakers and microphone were created in collaboration with the audio experts at Harman Kardon to provide first-class sound to one of Sena's most popular devices. Expertly crafted speakers and a new microphone allow the 50S to deliver an unparalleled audio experience. The speakers transmit clear audio, and the microphone, with a newly designed sensor, provides stable performance for communication while driving.
SENA 50S MESH: THE NEW STANDARD
50S Mesh technology brings a new level of stable and reliable connections thanks to the intelligent and flexible routing of intercom signals, and the significant technical improvements made to the original Sena Mesh Intercom™ algorithm. Sena's 50S units actively share information with each other within the Mesh network at astonishing speeds. An ingenious system of messages and responses between the units allowed 80% more data to be transferred even in challenging conditions. Additionally, Mesh units quickly determine the ideal path to effectively transmit messages from pilot to pilot. Sena's Mesh technology offers an unprecedented level of intercom quality and reliable connection for all Mesh Intercom™ users. SENA 50S MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATION AND PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS
With 50S, there are three options available for communicating between users: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™, Group Mesh Intercom™, and Bluetooth Intercom.
Sena's 50 Series with Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) option is the first to bring Multi-Channel functionality to the industry. With functionality similar to a traditional radio system, users can choose from nine different channels to use when connected in Open Mesh mode. Just press a button to connect to the Mesh 2.0 network and communicate with a virtually unlimited number of users within a radius of up to 8 km (min. 6 users at 1.6 km intervals). Thanks to the ease of use, the ability to connect a large number of riders, the range and the possibility to choose between 9 channels the 50S certainly changes the rules of the game.
If you prefer to have a private conversation, you can switch to Group Mesh Intercom mode, in this mode the 50S supports up to 24 users leaving the range of action unchanged but, to ensure privacy, only invited people will be able to participate in the group. However you decide to connect with your travel companions, you can always count on the reliability and stability of the Mesh 2.0 connection.
Finally, it is also possible to connect with the classic Bluetooth channel which supports up to 4 users within a 2 km radius, those who use 50S can also act as a "bridge" and connect friends connected via Sena Bluetooth in the Mesh 2.0 group!
SENA 50S TAKE CONTROL WITH VOICE COMMANDS
With 50S voice commands you will never have to lift a finger again! All functions will be easily accessible from answering the phone to creating a Mesh group. 50S supports voice commands in eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
What if you happen to run out of fuel on the road? "Hey Google, what's the closest gas station?" 50S puts you in direct contact with your phone's digital assistant and gives you access to everything you need such as navigation, music or quick calls. Do you want to know where to eat? Do you need a hotel for the night? Want to listen to your favorite band? all you need to do is say "Hey Siri / Hey Google". This means #RIDECONNECTED
SENA 50S FAST CHARGE AND AUTOMATIC UPDATE WITH SENA WIFI ADAPTER
50S has a high intensity battery that allows you to charge the device 30% faster than previous models. Full charging takes just an hour and you can talk in Mesh Intercom for 9 hours or via Bluetooth Intercom for 14 hours. Plus, with the quick charging function you only need 20 minutes to have 3.5 hours of conversation in Mesh or 6 in Bluetooth.
The Sena WiFi adapter included in the box can be programmed to automatically download and install firmware updates as they become available, simply connect the cable to your WiFi network and you'll be sure your 50S is always charged, up to date and ready to go!
