Intercom Bluetooth conference, considerations and advice on the purchase
Let's start by making a clarification, MESH devices are not taken into consideration , but only Bluetooth ones.
For a commercial choice we decided back in 2005 to market only products whose Brand can guarantee spare parts, assistance in a more or less short time and in the same selection we have always preferred to market products with fewer problems.
The brands marketed at the moment are Sena, Cardo, Interphone, Midland.
Let's make a first distinction on the basic characteristics and type of communications.
- All the models in question have the possibility of associating themselves with the telephone or GPS and instrumentation integrated in the TFT type motorcycle, they basically have the possibility of communicating as Pilot Pilot or Passenger Pilot, some have FM radio and some do not (due to little availability of radio chips and their high cost) and also the possibility of sharing music.
- The conference function is based on the power of the Bluetooth Chip, and it is good to remember that the distances shown are calculated in a straight line and in the Pilot-Pilot function, therefore with only two connected devices (the more devices are connected, the lower their range will be +/ - for each device added there is a loss of 20%.

- Are you a couple of friends who need to prepare for a trip? in this case you can choose the device that you think is closest to your needs.
- Do you have a friend who already has an Intercom system, in this case you must strictly adapt to the brand, same model or a superior model, but keep in mind that the combination of two models of the same brand but one model is superior, the same will take the characteristics of the lower model.
